A few simple expectations to keep pairings healthy.
- Only accept a pairing if you genuinely have time to test the other app within a few days.
- Submit a real, structured report — not a one-line drive-by. Screenshots and clear repro steps make a huge difference.
- Be kind in feedback. Critique the product, not the person.
- Mark your side complete only after you've actually submitted a meaningful report.
- If something comes up, communicate. Cancelling early is fine — ghosting is not.
Common questions
How many buddies can I have?
Unlimited. Pair with as many builders as you can realistically support — across as many of your apps as you'd like.
What if my buddy never submits feedback?
You can still mark your own side complete. Repeated no-shows hurt their trust score and can be reported.
Do I have to use the buddy system to get feedback?
No. You can also publish your app on the public board for anyone to test. The buddy system is for when you want focused, 1-on-1 attention.
